The Bay Brewed: Rock and Roll Beer Festival
San Francisco’s only rock and roll beer festival, The Bay Brewed, is back for a fourth year of pairing outstanding local beer and local music! Taking place at The Chapel on March 29, 2015, this year’s festival offers performances by four great San Francisco Bay Area bands and unlimited tastings from eleven San Francisco breweries all day long thanks to the SF Brewers Guild!
The music side of the festival is led by Oakland’s Tumbleweed Wanderers, a rock and roll quintet known for electrifying live shows. The band’s blend of rock, folk, psych and soul has catapulted them from busking to playing at Outside Lands. The group’s upcoming album, Realize, should bring them to even greater heights. They’ll be joined by The Seshen, who mix electronic pop, R&B and indie rock into something wonderfully unique, the dance-inducing rock of Guy Fox, and the wild ragtime and jazz of The John Brothers Piano Company.
We’ve also got a stellar array of breweries serving beer at the event, including 21st Amendment Brewery, Anchor Brewing Company, Beach Chalet Brewery & Restaurant, Fort Point Beer Company, Magnolia Brewing, Pine Street Brewery, Pizza Orgasmica & Brewing Company, San Francisco Brewing Co., Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, ThirstyBear Brewing Company, and Woods Beer Company.
In other words, it’s a lineup of great local bands sure to entertain while you’re sampling some of San Francisco’s finest beers.
