New Yours Truly video: BOY – "Oh Boy"
The latest installment of Yours Truly music vids features half-Swiss Swedish, half-German pop duo, BOY. While passing through town on their first American tour a few weeks ago to play a date at – guess where? – the Swedish American Hall, BOY laid down some idyllic backyard footage with YT for “Oh Boy,” a sweet acoustic tune that is as warm and charming as the scenery behind them. Beautiful song, beautiful people, beautiful backdrop. Watch the video below to hear the song and find out a little bit about their songwriting process.
Palma Violets prep for show at the Independent, release YoursTruly Video
It would be hard for me to lie and hide my excitement about Palma Violets. Their first single "Best of Friends" off of 180 came out of nowhere late last year -- a stomping, energetic party of a song from four London 20-year-olds. I couldn't help but be completely taken with their earnest sound and freshness. Palma Violets are filling that post-Libertines void in Brit rock, morphing 1960's garage rock into a very British sound. The band formed in 2011 and thanks to house shows that were spread by word-of-mouth, and a wild energy that overtook their short but punchy [...]
Video: Yours Truly profiles Painted Palms
The Neighborhood: SOMA // Painted Palms from Yours Truly on Vimeo. This episode of The Neighborhood captures Painted Palms in a really positive head space, and, why shouldn't it? This is a duo clearly excited about being in SF, even if Chris Prudhomme's stay is only part of a semester-long college sabbatical. "What you put out is what you ingest" - it's an idea that didn't start with these guys, but it's encouraging to see them carry it with them.

Video: Yours Truly + Audyssey = The Neighborhood (Shlohmo)
From Yours Truly: In this opening episode of The Neighborhood — Audyssey and Yours Truly’s new series offering intimate glimpses of local musicians at home in their hoods — the former visual artist, Henry Laufer, illustrates how the diversity of San Francisco provided space for him to become Shlohmo, the budding beatmaker who is finally finding his place and voice. Video: Yours Truly’s session with Papercuts at The Common
http://vimeo.com/19411398 Papercuts - "Do What You Will" The perfectly set tone completes the video for a new track from Papercuts, "Do You Really Wanna Know." An open warehouse space with bright wood floors, the admiring spectators with wine in hand, every element of the scene is natural. Or is it? Yours Truly held a private party at The Common for the filming of their recent Papercuts session, providing refreshments and a warm atmosphere to their guests. I must say, it really felt as if we were part of the creative process. Attentively listening to tracks from Papercuts' upcoming Sub Pop [...]
