It was an interesting night — Rituals of Mine opened with a ton of energy and practically stole the evening away from the headliner. Y La Bamba signs new record ‘Mujeres’ at Bandcamp Oakland next week

We’re happy to announce Y La Bamba is playing a special (free!) show at the Bandcamp record store in Oakland on May 13. Their fifth record, Mujeres, was released in February and it’s a beautiful collection of sounds, feelings, rhythms, movements, languages, and beats beats beats. Title track “Mujeres” is layered with room-warming, powerful Latin percussion coming in from all sides. The harmonious vocal blending is empowering and reminds us what this album is really about.
