Women’s Audio Mission announces benefit concert featuring Tune-Yards

Women's Audio Mission, the Bay Area-based organization that advances women, girls, and gender non-conforming individuals in music production and the recording arts, hosts its third annual benefit concert on April 29 at the Independent in San Francisco. The event boasts cocktails, snacks, an auction, and of course music — this time around provided by Oakland's own Tune-Yards. Women’s Audio Mission announce next Local Sirens series

Women's Audio Mission (WAM) is the only professional recording studio in the world built and run by women and located in our very own backyard. Every quarter, they host a free series called Local Sirens to feature local women musicians and performers in the Bay Area. This time around, Local Sirens will be held at Rickshaw Stop on March 13. Another Local Sirens showcase is upon us with another powerful lineup provided by Women's Audio Mission. Next Tuesday night at the Rickshaw will feature some heavy-hitting all-female outfits. Local Sirens: Women in Music Fest happens on Wednesday

Women's Audio Mission, a San Francisco-based nonprofit dedicated to the advancement of women in music production and the recording arts, is curating a quarterly performance series promoting local women artists. Entitled Local Sirens, the series also aims to provide high-quality, accessible music events to Bay Area residents. Wednesday's free show at Monarch features two such exceptional female artists.
