Wire performing with Chastity Belt at Slim's

Some shows come around often - others are so rare that they’re practically obligatory - a few of which belong to Wire’s upcoming (and brief) West Coast tour. One of these shows will take place on November 18th at Slim’s in San Francisco, with Chastity Belt (who, by the way, are just as worth seeing as the classic post-punk headliner) opening the night. In an incredible opportunity for a local band, The Lovely Public will be opening for British post-punk pioneers Wire tonight at The Fillmore. Wire - "One of Us" - From their upcoming album Object 47 After a brief hiatus as each member explored other projects, The Lovely Public is playing this show as well as Wiretap's Anniversary party at Thee Parkside this Saturday.
