Photo: Mariah Tiffany Club Night is a local band making waves in Oakland right now, playing chaotic-but-exhilarating indie rock. Their sound is a bizarre blend of guitar riffs usually found in midwest emo and frontman Josh Bertram’s high-pitched psychedelic wail, all layered on top of some synth pads and frenetic drumming. They’re unapologetically high energy, but they never let their excitement get the best of them.
