Two-piece rock outfit Unruly Things certainly have chosen an appropriate moniker for this project. Guitarist Nate Hutchinson and drummer Brian Pelham don't need much to get you banging your head or moving your feet — just some driving drumbeats, big vocal hooks and loads of crunchy guitar riffs. The obvious comparison would be Magic Potion-era Black Keys, but the roots of their brand of straight-ahead rock n' roll goes all the way back to 60s garage lords like The Seeds and Blues Magoos.
