Ears of the Beholder hosting Twin Sister, Exray's, Some Ember, and Yalls (DJ) at Rickshaw Stop, 11/7/12

Ears of the Beholder is presenting Twin Sister at the Rickshaw Stop this Wednesday, November 7th, with local support from Exray's and Some Ember, plus DJ sets from Peter Arko (the man behind EOTB) and Yalls. Some Ember is the Oakland-based dark synth project of former Man/Miracle frontman Dylan Travis, who is joined on stage by bandmates Nina Chase, Josh Unger, and Peter Wallner. Some Ember's debut cassette release Hotel of Lost Light is out now on Crash Symbols. Previously, it would be easiest to slap them with the "dream pop" label, but recently the five-piece has unveiled a funkier side. Take the video for "Bad Street" as an indication that the young Long Island band's first priority is having fun together. Twin Sister returns to SF early next month with Devon Williams (LA) and Library Voices (Canada). Tickets are already on sale for that show at the Rickshaw Stop on September 4 (8pm, $12).
