Trash Talk tours with SpaceGhostPurrp, at Slim's on 7/16/12

For those who like their hip-hop paired with a side of hardcore, Trash Talk and SpaceGhostPurrp are co-headlining a string of West Coast tour dates this month. The two acts will both be performing at Slim's on July 16th. The Sacramento hardcore punk collective Trash Talk may not have much in common with South Florida MC/producer SpaceGhostPurrp, other than, well, being awesome, which is why this tour works. Trash Talk sign to Odd Future Records

Sacramento hardcore outfit Trash Talk has signed to incendiary hip-hop collective Odd Future's label (Odd Future Records), the first non-hip-hop artists to join their roster and the first outside the collective to be brought into the fold. The band has big things on the horizon, including a summer tour of Europe that terminates at Denmark’s famed Roskilde Festival, and a new album, 119, that’s slated to drop in the fall and is already generating some good buzz. Video: Trash Talk – "Slander"

Fresh off a glowing New York Times review of their October CMJ performance, here’s a trippy new cartoon music video from Sacramento hardcore rockers Trash Talk.
