LA’s together PANGEA release new EP, show in Berkeley in December

Santa Clarita garage rockers together PANGEA have become synonymous with the genre of skate punk, and have earned the corresponding affiliations with bands likes Wavves and FIDLAR that come with the territory. Within this sphere they absolutely rule — the band can start a crowd engulfing mosh-pit in seconds when in front of the right audience (i.e. Burgerama, which they have played consecutively for the past two years). Their catalogue is filled with beer-stained guitar licks and the type of energy that gets denim-adorned twenty-somethings dancing. The band doesn’t drastically fix what wasn’t broken on their latest EP The Phage, [...]

together PANGEA playing The New Parish next Thursday (watch their video for “Badillac”)

Los Angeles' together PANGEA swings through the New Parish next Thursday night as their 10-date Summer 2014 West Coast Tour heads back toward their native SoCal. Joining the trio will be supporting acts Guantanamo Baywatch and Blood Sister. Just the other day, the band released their new video for the title track off their much lauded third LP Badillac, out earlier in 2014 on Harvest Records. Burger Records is at it again. The little OC label that could, which has produced over 700 releases, sold more than 100,000 cassettes since 2007 (yes, 100,000 cassettes in the 21st century), and brought you both Burgerama and Burger Boogaloo, is hitting the road, kicking off its 25-date Caravan of Stars tour at Slim's on October 14 with together PANGEA, Mozes & The Firstborn, The Memories, and AJ Davila y Terror Amor. After the Slim's show, the Caravan of Stars winds its way around the US (and bits of Canada) before landing in Austin a month later, and the lineup [...]

Los Angeles' together PANGEA play Bottom of the Hill in support of new album, 'Badillac'

Photo by Alice Baxley Catching a together PANGEA performance is rejuvenating; watching them at Total Trash’s Burger Boogaloo at Mosswood Park last year, it's obvious that the band has complete control over any crowd as they lead them into an energetic frenzy that leaves many sweaty and rejoicing for more. Luckily for the Bay Area, the Los Angeles-based trio is closing their winter tour at San Francisco’s Bottom of the Hill on March 5th. together PANGEA's recent LP Badillac on Harvest Records is possibly the best the band has released thus far. Chock-full of garage rock riffs and punk rock sentimentality, the album features a handful [...]
