Oakland's nightlife staple The Uptown Nightclub, which closed its doors suddenly in early November 2014 after the owners chose not to renew the lease, has announced that they will be reopening as a special events venue. To kick off their official grand reopening on New Year's Eve with Hubba Hubba Revue, the venue is throwing a special pre-party this Tuesday -- the Food Drive Extravaganza.
