As we told you back in February, Everyone Is Dirty’s Sivan Lioncub has been suffering from liver failure due to an allergic reaction to Augmentin, an antibiotic she was taking to treat pneumonia. Back then, some of her closest pals banded together to throw a benefit show to help with her mounting medical bills, and now Tricycle Records – the label that released Everyone Is Dirty's debut LP, 2014's Dying Is Fun – is throwing its hat in the ring to help support this unique and vibrant Bay Area musician. Premiere: The Union Trade – “Drakes Passage”

The Bay Bridged is proud to premiere the first single from The Union Trade’s forthcoming new album, A Place of Long Years, out on February 3 via local label Tricycle Records. The single, called "Drakes Passage," is a slow burn - a driving piece that builds upon steady anthemic jams, punctuated by a triumphant drumbeat. Friends of Tricycle Records Compilation Vol. 4 drops today (FREE DOWNLOAD!)

Big news for those searching out burgeoning Bay Area bands: Tricycle Records has released yet another exemplary mix, entitled Friends of Tricycle Records Compilation Vol. 4. It features some of the best local acts and premieres tracks from The Union Trade, BLAUS, and The Northern Key. Everyone Is Dirty not only contributed a track ("Isn't It Great?" off their 2014 album Dying Is Fun, which you can stream below), but the band's guitarist, Christopher Reece Daddio, mastered the compilation at Donut Time Audio. Tricycle Records is throwing a party to celebrate the holiday season tonight at Cafe Du Nord. Headliner Veil Veil Vanish's dark rock blends elements of shoegaze and post-punk with a strong melodic streak.
