The Mother Hips slated for Terrapin Crossroads double feature

Bay Area favorite alternative rockers The Mother Hips continue their non-linear approach to scheduling and giving back to fans with a two-night stand this weekend at Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael. The Mother Hips' Hipnic IV: May 4th-6th at Fernwood Resort, tix on sale now

California soul rockers The Mother Hips recently announced details for their fourth annual Hipnic music festival, to be held at the beautiful Fernwood Resort in Big Sur from May 4th-6th. Three day camping passes are on sale now ($200), and include access to all stages and performances. Children 12 and under get in free. The Hips celebrated 20 years as a band last year, and have created this annual gathering for loyal followers, family members, and new fans alike. Tim and Nicki Bluhm – “Unforgetaboutable”

Husband-and-wife duo Tim and Nicki Bluhm recently released Duets, an 8-track folk album recorded at their own local studio. Alone, Tim and Nicki have their own musical track records: Tim Bluhm as co-founder of the Mother Hips, and Nicki Bluhm of her own Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers.
