You Burger Believe It: The Abigails to headline unofficial Burger Records bash at Brick and Mortar

Burger Records is well-beloved as an all-caps champion of garage rock and countless other genre-defying rock weirdos in Southern California and beyond. Besides the annual Burger Boogaloo in Oakland, Burger has ties to the Bay Area in the form of some great one-off shows. This Friday, the Brick & Mortar Music Hall boasts a sweet Burger-studded lineup, with the Abigails headlining and some fellow Burger bands supporting. Burger Records announces Caravan of Stars tour with together PANGEA headlining SF show

Burger Records is at it again. The little OC label that could, which has produced over 700 releases, sold more than 100,000 cassettes since 2007 (yes, 100,000 cassettes in the 21st century), and brought you both Burgerama and Burger Boogaloo, is hitting the road, kicking off its 25-date Caravan of Stars tour at Slim's on October 14 with together PANGEA, Mozes & The Firstborn, The Memories, and AJ Davila y Terror Amor. 'I Need You Bad' – The Live Show! (win tickets!)

A little over a month ago, Polyvinyl Records announced the release of its garage rock compilation I Need You Bad, a sonic snapshot of the local garage rock scene. Curated by Sonny Smith of Sunny & the Sunsets, the comp features Bay Area staples like Cool Ghouls, Burnt Ones and Warm Soda as well as a few other artists from along the West Coast, including Burger Records' latest darlings The Memories, who come from Portland.
