Our friends at Wiretap Music are celebrating the release of Covers, their new local music compilation, tonight at Cafe du Nord. This two-disc comp features one disc of covers and one of originals from lots of great local bands - but it's even cooler because they cover each other! Wiretap Music Anniversary Party This Saturday at Thee Parkside
Fellow local music blog Wiretap Music will be celebrating its one year anniversary this Saturday at Thee Parkside. In an incredible opportunity for a local band, The Lovely Public will be opening for British post-punk pioneers Wire tonight at The Fillmore. Wire - "One of Us" - From their upcoming album Object 47 After a brief hiatus as each member explored other projects, The Lovely Public is playing this show as well as Wiretap's Anniversary party at Thee Parkside this Saturday.
