The Hold Steady (photo: Ria Burman) Supporting the Hold Steady, San Diego surf-chill rockers the Donkeys brought a solid set of sand-daze, beach-haze vibes to Great American Music Hall Friday night. Offering tracks from their new album, Sun Damaged Youth, the Donkeys warmed the crowd up with a mix of feel good sways crescendo-ing into a rock-wailing good time.

First City Festival announces daily schedules and after shows

Monterey's First City Festival is fast approaching, and Goldenvoice recently announced the new event's daily schedules and also revealed lineups for two official after shows on the night of Saturday, August 24 following the fest's first day.
