Fillmore rapper DaVinci teamed up with Sweet Valley, (Wavves frontman Nathan Williams and his brother Kynan) for their Ghetto Cuisine album, available now as a free download from Fools Gold Records. I'm not sure how DaVinci and the Williams got together, but oh man am I glad they did. Sweet Valley's beats are experimental enough to be more interesting than your typical mixtape, but they give plenty of space for DaVinci's hard rhymes to shine through.
