Wood Shoppe 4/2/13 honors the late Steve Brodsky

The folks at Wood Shoppe are doing something a little different for their April 2nd event. In memory of local manager, promoter and music exec, Steve Brodsky, they’ll be devoting the night to him. The lineup for the night includes Atlanta’s Ponderosa, LA’s Pageants, and Seatraffic, who are from right here in San Francisco. Wood Shoppe will also be accepting donations in Brodsky’s memory to the National Children’s Leukemia Foundation, per his family’s request. It is with great sadness that I am writing to inform our readers that last night, Steve Brodsky, a vital and inspiring member of our Bay Area community passed away to a better place. Steve was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia around Christmas time last year and had been fighting the disease at the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center in Washington, DC.
