Spencey Dude & the Doodles launch debut LP, 'Night Problems'
Night Problems by Spencey Dude & the Doodles For what feels like years, we've been awaiting the debut LP from SF's Spencey Dude & the Doodles, and Night Problems is well worth the delay. The band isn't as prolific as some of its peers, but there's no shortage of killer hooks on the Greg Ashley-recorded album, which is available digitally now and on vinyl in May. Stream it in full above.

Thanks to the event's sponsors, Fernet Branca and Noise Pop, we were able to have some fun with both the bands and attendees, shown in the video above. Again, we'd like to thank everyone that made our Happy Hour such a packed and exciting event.

Their infrequency of live shows is because the Doodles are just being too busy with other things, like practicing their accents and coming to a consensus on their top "babes." Spencer claims that "me and Oscar both have softspots for early 90s Lookout Records bands, and me and Anna share a love of Miley Cyrus and Beyonce." Tuesday at the Hemlock, they'll unite to celebrate the release of their debut 7", an 4-song indication of their [...]
