Eleven years of independent online radio is no laughing matter. SomaFM first took to the online airways back in 2000 with "Drone Zone," "Groove Salad" and "Secret Agent" stations, and the site has since expanded to 18 unique channels and garnered over 5.8 million listener hours during any given month. To celebrate eleven years of commercial-free, listener-supported radio, SomaFM is throwing a party at the Independent this Thursday, April 7th (8:00 pm, $18-$20).
