Raphi Gottesman: New album + video premiere
Oakland's Raphi Gottesman had all the usual 2020 challenges, but also a beautiful, young son, Misha, undergoing treatment for leukemia. The musical result is a brand new instrumental album called The Clarity of Dawn that deserves your attention. Who loves the sun? The Octopus Literary Salon, silly! Join them this Saturday from 6-10pm at Chabot Space & Science Center in Oakland. The event will take place in the MEGADOME! Sit back and enjoy IMAX-style imagery of the sun while listening to the best live music Oakland has to offer, with sets from Raphi Gottesman, Yea-Ming & the Rumours, and Legs. M. Raphi Gottesman offers ‘Virtual Access’
You may not know the name Raphi Gottesman, but chances are you have seen him in action. He has played drums with Sonny & the Sunsets, The Fresh & Onlys, The Black Swans, Fishermen Three, A Carnival of Hours, Jack Lewis' Awkward Energy and he currently drums with Odawas.
