Still Whistling After All These Years: Peter Bjorn and John to play Slim’s on Thursday
Ten years on, and Peter Bjorn and John’s “Young Folks” is still catchy as hell. Named one of the “Top 15 Whistling Songs” of all time by Rolling Stone (yep, that’s a real list), the Swedish trio proved that to make a great pop song, all you really needed to do was put your lips together and blow. In many ways, it’s a shame that “Young Folks” became such a phenomenon.
