Deafheaven announces world tour, including show at Great American

San Francisco's Deafheaven seem to have been touring non-stop since Sunbather came out last year. They're playing every festival from Sasquatch to Barcelona's Primavera, and have announced an additional tour date right back in their hometown of San Francisco. The black metal outfit, led by Kerry McCoy and George Clarke, will be joined on tour by Pallbearer (for some dates) and Wreck & Reference, with some European co-headlining dates with Sargent House label mate Chelsea Wolfe. The album clocks in at around 50 minutes despite having just five tracks, which tells you a lot about the type of music they're playing. That is, epic would be an understatement.
