On An On return to Rickshaw Stop before hiatus

Good news: On An On have returned to their first official release to create a new, eerily appropriate video for their song "Ghosts." Bad news: The band then followed it up by announcing a hiatus specifically around touring outside their Minneapolis home base. Good news: they will return to Rickshaw Stop on July 21 before putting things on pause. Review: Geographer, Midi Matilda, On An On @ The Fillmore, 1/31/13

"I remember when we couldn't even get a show in this town...and now we're at the FUCKING Fillmore," proclaimed Geographer frontman/guitarist/synth-master Michael Deni last Thursday night, during a banter-break between floating falsettos and pulsing synths. Geographer announces U.S. winter tour with ON AN ON, covers "Cloudbusting" by Kate Bush

San Francisco indie-pop three-piece Geographer is hitting the road in January, touring much of the western United States with Chicago's ON AN ON, which features three former members of Scattered Trees. The tour kicks off January 12th at Portland's Doug Fir Lounge, then weaves around the country, eventually finding its way to The Fillmore on January 31st before wrapping the next night in L.A. This western leg is a continuation of Geographer's touring in support of their 2012 album MYTH, released via Modern Art Records.
