Odd Owl – “New Americans”
Local indie pop band Odd Owl will be heading to Bottom of the Hill this week. The band, which features Carmen Caruso on lead vocals and keyboards, has a poppy, bubbly sound that is eccentric and thoroughly pleasing. Caruso's vocals are smoothly mighty, their style is varied and diverse, and their sound offers a delicate mix of things that normally wouldn't go together. Odd Owl releases debut EP, ‘The Call’
Odd Owl has just released their debut five-track EP, The Call, following a number of single releases. The album is poppy, eclectic, and energetic in style. Carmen Caruso, lead vocals and front-woman, has a powerful and utterly transfixing voice, while the remaining band members create a sound that is fun, melodic, intrinsic and diverse, developed from an array of genres - from pop to indie.
