Oakland Drops Beats is Saturday

Remember when Harry, The Boy Who Lived, gets to Hogwarts for the first time and is like “Holy shit! There is magic every-goddamn-where!” Yeah, that’s basically what downtown Oakland is going to be like Saturday afternoon, except in lieu of flying broomsticks and talking pictures of dead people, it’s going to be a full-on inundation of Oaktown musical talent. Oakland Drops Beats music crawl announces lineup for April 19 debut

The (free!) Oakland Drops Beats music crawl announced the lineup for its debut April 19 (that's also Record Store Day for those of you keeping track), when will take over at least 10 venues all over downtown Oakland. The organizers of Oakland Drops Beats said that they drew their inspiration from the Venice Music Crawl in L.A. The first lineup features Jel, Odd Nosdam, B. Hamilton, and more, and kicks off at 2pm at 15th and Webster in Oakland.
