Nyanni’s new track “Over Night” explores the consequences of mixing love and Hennessy

Nyanni (photo: Edgar Daniel) Late last year, I met Nyanni on the platform of West Oakland BART, while working on a story about Oakland's BART dancing scene. The 22-year-old Oakland R&B singer has released a couple songs since then, but her newest track "Over Night" is her best yet. It's forlorn and catchy, an ambient, auto-tuned hip-hop track exploring the explosive mixture of young love and Hennessy.
