LA-based dreamscape engineer Nosaj Thing plays a Noise Pop 2013 pre-party this Thursday at the California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park. Bay Area soundsmith Giraffage also plays, and there will be DJ sets by Joaquin Bartra, Chad Salty, and Brogan Bentley going on throughout the building's many fascinating rooms. Giraffage streams track off new mixtape, playing Noise Pop pre-party at Academy of Sciences' NightLife series, 2/21/13
Charlie Yin (aka Giraffage) took to social media yesterday to announce that he signed a record deal with L.A.'s Alpha Pup Records and will soon be releasing a free mixtape on that label. The San Francisco-based multi-instrumentalist and producer gave his fans a sneak peek at the new release, streaming the track "Thinking About You" via SoundCloud.
