Our Noise Pop 2009 coverage is ramping up here over the next few weeks, and some recent announcements definitely merit your attention: First, the festival's schedule has been updated again, with a bunch of great local bands added to the lineup, including David Dondero, Built For The Sea, Mike Relm, Wallpaper. and more. Two free shows aren't on the calendar yet, but both look pretty great: - The opening night party with Deerhunter and Lilofee at the Mezzanine on February 24th. Whew! Our hands and eyes are sore, but we've finally put together the photos from Day 2 of the Treasure Island Music Festival! Treasure Island Music Festival: Day 2 Live Blog!

With the first day of Treasure Island Music Festival behind us (and our first attempt at the live blog), Joe and Christian are taking the reigns of the website and will be capturing everything that Day 2 has to offer.
