Neko Case (photo: Patric Carver) Last Wednesday, indie favorite and New Pornographer Neko Case took the stage at the fabulous Fox Theater in Oakland. Not very often is the Fox situated with fixed seating on the floor area, but for Neko’s show the setting was made a bit upscale. Regardless, there was never any doubt during the performance that she couldn’t handle that weight. Neko Case comes to Oakland tomorrow
Neko Case will return to the Bay Area for a pair of theater appearances this week. The former New Pornographers frontwoman returns for an evening at The Rio Theater in Santa Cruz tonight and a performance at The Fox Theater in Oakland tomorrow, Wednesday, November 16. Her most recent release is her first in three years — a supergroup collboration between k.d. lang, Laura Veirs, and herself titled case/lang/veirs.
