San Francisco solo garage rock machine Adam Widener will join fellow San Franciscans Primitive Hearts opening for Canadian punks The Steve Adamyk Band and Needles//Pins Tuesday night at Thee Parkside. Widener, who plays bass at his live shows, has performed with Warm Soda as his backing band for solo shows in the past. For Tuesday's show, the well-connected Widener enlisted the help of drummer Phil Lantz and singer/guitarist Patrick Clos from Cocktails, and will use DSTVV's Joel Cusumano as his lead guitarist.
