Free compilation from Oakland psych label Moon Glyph: 'Opal Vol.I & II'

Oakland record label Moon Glyph has released a mammoth compilation showcasing artists from the label's current roster, with over two hours of original tracks available for free download. Opal Vol.I & II is divided into two volumes, spanning 26 fresh and exclusive tracks of the psychedelic variety. Vol.I has a slight emphasis on more band oriented jams, while Vol.II drifts a little further into more ambient drone territory. Great stuff all around. Moon Glyph label moves to Oakland, new Leisure Birds LP + 7"

The name Steve Rosborough may not be familiar yet to Bay Area music, but he recently moved to Oakland, bringing along his record label Moon Glyph. Steve used to run the label out of his Minneapolis home, but will be living and operating out of the Bay Area from now on. So far, Moon Glyph has put out 45 cassette, LP, and 7" releases, mostly of the psychedelic pop variety. Artists on the label's roster include Lee Noble, Velvet Davenport, Food Pyramid, Deep Magic, Angel Eyes, Xander Harris, and Dylan Ettinger.
