Moderat (photo: Ian Young) Joshua Eustis, aka Telefon Tel Aviv, played his first-ever show in Oakland at The Fox Theater, along with Berlin's Moderat, the greater-than-the-sum-of-its-parts mash-up of electronic duo Modeselektor and Sascha Ring, aka Apparat. Jason: I wasn't a huge fan of Deer Tick's last album Divine Providence, with its faster pace and hepped up barroom style of rock and roll.
