Lettuce to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day at The Fox
Lettuce, the funk band from Brooklyn that legend of funk Bootsy Collins hailed as having "that 'Sounds Like A Party To Me' funk goin' on" announced a singular Bay Area performance at Oakland's Fox Theater on March 17 near the end of their 2017 Mt. Crushmore tour. Named after Lettuce's most recent EP, Mt. Crushmore, the tour kicks off next week in the Midwest and moves through Colorado into the PNW before wrapping up in California near the end of March on Saint Patrick's Day. GRiZ + Lettuce team up, bring “Funksgiving” to SF
Thanksgiving in San Francisco is about to get a major infusion of funk. On Saturday, November 26, with two days to recover from familial obligations surrounding Turkey Day, Detroit-based electro-soul saxophone extraordinaire GRiZ and the impeccable talents of Boston-based funk legends Lettuce will team up for a special Funksgiving event at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.
