Jazzmeia Horn (photo: Ria Burman) SFJAZZ opening and entertaining its 37th Annual Jazz Festival this week, invited the apt and artful Jazzmeia Horn, winner of the Sarah Vaughn and Thelonius Monk awards and Grammy-nominated for her album, A Social Call in 2018, to perform. With her own take on jazz standards and adding original creations to the mix, available upon an upcoming album released this year, Jazzmeia Horn charmed and cheered the crowd.
