Wavves and King Tuff play Slim's on Wednesday

Lo-fi garage rock troupe Wavves are uniting with the enigmatic King Tuff for a visit to SoMa's Slim's on Wednesday. Following the release of this year's Afraid of Heights (which dropped March 26 via Mom + Pop), Wavves has got the California sound down. Though they initially began as a product of boredom and ballsy brashness, Wavves broke onto the pop punk scene to become the perpetually blazed, rambunctious sons the West Coast loves.
