Psychedelic hard rock outfit and San Francisco natives Hydrophonic recently dropped their new single "Friends Like These" via BandCamp. Funded entirely by a Kickstarter campaign, the track was recorded at Hyde Street Studios in SF and produced by the band and Michael Starita. Clocking in at more than six minutes, "Friends Like These" is an epic tale of lies and betrayal featuring aggressive, searing guitars and a thunderous rhythm section, and takes loads of inspiration from fellow Bay Area natives Metallica.
