How curious -- is the Luggage Store one of those hip design shop/galleries with a deceptively literal name, or does it actually supply customers with Samsonite and other traveling containers? We don't get out enough. In any case, this Saturday the business located at 1007 Market near 6th will be hosting an evening of respectable local tunes for the opening of a group art show (participating artists listed below, including, Kyle Field of Little Wings). What a night was dealt to Dominant Legs and friends. In the 48 hours before their show at Cafe du Nord Tuesday, we went from mass euphoria over our local sports miracle to somewhere in between head scratching bewilderment and numbing déjà vu over events on the political landscape.
