Gene Evaro Jr. headlining Slim’s on Friday

Gene Evaro Jr. and his band, a bubbly and high-energy funk act from Joshua Tree, released their latest full-length album, Like It's 1965, last week. In celebration, the four-piece will be hitting a small run of shows in California as they prep for a larger summer tour. Beginning Friday, April 13, at Slim's in SF, the band treks northeast to Chico on Saturday. The next week they appear in Santa Barbara.
