Constellation by Waterstrider Six-piece Waterstrider are a young band that began in a UC Berkeley co-op last year. Constellation is available for purchase above -- where you can also grab the title track for free -- and its swooning indie pop sounds a lot more thoughtful and mature than most self-released debut efforts. Santa Barbara's Gardens & Villa will be back at Bottom of the Hill next month, but the band's second stop on their US tour (which kicks off today) is at UC Berkeley, for a free noontime concert at Lower Sproul Plaza on Friday, September 16th. Between nabbing Girls and these guys, hats off to the folks booking those UC Berkeley shows.
