Perhaps one of the most addicting and up-and-coming indie synth-pop bands, Santa Barbara's own Gardens & Villa will be wrapping up their tour in support of their new album Music for Dogs at The Independent tomorrow night. Santa Barbara five-piece Gardens & Villa are returning to San Francisco this week to headline a pair of shows. The band will be performing for an all ages crowd at Rickshaw Stop on Friday, November 21, with support from James Supercave and To The Wedding. Gardens & Villa announce tour, remix Polica, and contribute to Fleetwood Mac tribute album
As the headline suggests, there's lots of Gardens & Villa news to share with you guys. Quickly entering "road warrior" status, the SoCal quintet recently announced a full September/October show schedule, including nine dates as direct support for rising Minneapolis stars Polica. To honor this team-up, Gardens remixed Polica's track "The Maker" which you can hear below. The finished piece nods to an 80's drum/keys theme while Channy Leaneagh's vocals remain relatively untouched, creating an overall sound that matches the Soundcloud player's "Thriller"-esque art quite well.
