Video roundup: new clips from Girls, WATERS, Bam!Bam!, Fops

What better way to spend a Friday afternoon than watching a bunch of music videos? Here are four recent Bay Area-affiliated clips of note. The debut album from WATERS (Port O’Brien's Van Pierszalowski), Out In the Light, came out this week, and the seriously rocking "For the One" now has a special-effects-fueled video to go along with it. Fops – “Cheater Carolina”; from new cassette/digital mini-album, ‘For Centuries’

"Cheater Carolina," streaming above, is the first mp3 available via Soundcloud from the album. Additionally, Fops are reaching out [...]

Or are the Bay's bedroom pop songwriters employing more electronics as it continues to get easier to manipulate software synths to create satisfying layers of sound? Most likely, there's no single answer to explain the catchy melodies and experimental approaches employed by [...]

Fops (Ex-Thee More Shallows/Ral Partha) release new video and song from Yeth, Yeth, Yeth

Fops - "Maple Mountain" Here's another song and a video from Fops, the electronic pop band featuring Thee More Shallows' Dee Kesler and Ral Partha Vogalbacher's Chadwick Donald Bidwell. Both tunes come from the duo's first album, Yeth, Yeth, Yeth, out now on Monotreme Records. Here's the Fops song we posted in August: Fops - "Solid Copper Huntress"
