Foals announce North American Tour in support of new LP

The five indie rockers of Foals have finally emerged with their dancing shoes freshly polished and a new studio album, Holy Fire. Released on February 12th, the album is the third full-length record from the Oxford-based band, offering a further departure from the cold-cut, hi-fi style of the group's 2008 debut, Antidotes. Holy Fire still displays Foals' unlikely mix of dance punk and math rock, but with expansive sounds and a fearless pop sensibility woven throughout, it's far more confident and less calculated than the band's previous offerings. Foals dropped the lead single off of the album "Inhaler," in November of 2012, setting the tone [...]

Photos: Treasure Island Music Festival – Day 1

And what a weekend it was. The Bay Bridged was on hand to live blog both Day 1 and Day 2 of the Treasure Island Music Festival to capture the vibe and crowds. We also had our photographer Muhammad Asranur running from stage to stage to photograph some of the best moments of the festival up close and personal. With over 3,000 photos taken over the entire weekend, we don't think you'll be disappointed with some of the great shots he captured of the event.
