Photo: Ashlie and Amber Chavez San Franscisco's Elskling is a new band fronted by native Norwegian Marte Solbakken, who earlier this week released their first track, "900 Hands". Elskling was born in a terrible New York winter where Solbakken and her boyfriend and bandmate Van Pierszalowski (of WATERS) were living. To deal with the awful weather and the lack of a job and friends, Solbakken picked up Van's guitar and started writing the songs that became Elksling.
