Salva & Grenier – "Wake The Dead" / "Forest Floor"
LA's Salva and SF's Grenier (aka DJG) have teamed up for a new single on Frite Nite that showcases the collaborators' melting pot approach to a variety of electronic music sounds. Grenier, who has a solo album coming out later this year, performs at SOM this Saturday, May 12.

The Independent tonight (9pm, $15) hosts four flavors of SF electronic pop, with Eskmo, Blackbird Blackbird (performing with a full band), oOoOO, and DJG. Eskmo - "Cloudlight" Blackbird Blackbird – "Give You Everything" oOoOO - "Hearts" A portion of proceeds from tonight's show benefit the Mission-based nonprofit Precita Eyes, which "seeks to enrich and beautify urban environments and educate communities locally and internationally about the process and the history of public community mural art."
