With their first full length since 2008's Offend Maggie coming out early next year, Deerhoof seem to have been everywhere lately, with a bunch of news and new music floating around the Internet. Noise Pop 2010: Tuesday Preview

While the opening night of Noise Pop 2010 appears unassuming on the surface, the two events of Tuesday evening are rather substantial, and definitely not to be missed. Kicking off a week's worth of free events, the Noise Pop opening night party will take place at Benders Bar, as presented by Diesel and Live105. The party will feature the outrageous Har Mar Superstar and requires no money for entry or alcohol, but does require that you pick up a special Diesel T-shirt beforehand and wear it to the party. Deerhoof debut “I Did Crimes For You”

The always excellent nyctaper captured Deerhoof's recent show at Le Poisson Rouge, where the band performed a new song for the first time called "I Did Crimes For You". Check out the new track below, then head to nyctaper to grab the whole show, including covers of "Pinhead," "Going Up The Country" and "Let's Dance the Jet" (which they performed during our New, Improved, LIVE session). Media Monday: locals on Daytrotter + new Still Flyin’ track

Those behind on their Daytrotter sessions should be aware that a few hometown heroes were recently featured on the website. Two new sessions from Still Flyin' and Deerhoof were released in August, and Still Flyin' offered an unreleased track, "Runaway Train II."
