Photographer Peter Ellenby Debuts New Exhibition at Noise Pop 2012: 15 Years of Death Cab for Cutie and John Vanderslice, in Photos

Photographer Peter Ellenby has been taking portraits of Death Cab for Cutie and John Vanderslice for over 15 years. Now as part of Noise Pop's 20th Anniversary, Ellenby's photo exhibit DC/VJ will be on display, featuring portraits depicting the progression of the musicians' celebrated careers as well as Ellenby's own stylistic progression. DC/JV will be housed at sponsor San Franpsycho's offices located at 1314 Grant (between Vallejo and Green). Magik*Magik Orchestra join Death Cab for Cutie for very special tour

Two days ago, Death Cab for Cutie announced a unique addition to their upcoming tour: members of San Francisco's own Magik*Magik Orchestra will accompany the band on stage as they tour various North American cities. As Minna Choi discussed with us back in June, the Magik*Magik Orchestra has a celebrated ability to pair effervescently with rock bands, bringing bands' performances to entirely new levels.
