Last week we reported on Berkeley's great Disciples of Markos playing the Greek hash den music of Markos Vamvakaris and featuring Berkeley's finest bouzouki player, Dave Murray. We mentioned that he also plays with the Squirrelly Stringband (every 1st Friday at the Niebyl-Proctor library). Turns out Dave also has an amazing blog called Haji Maji. The focus is Asian 78s (yes that's 78rpm-forget about cassettes and 45s!).
