September 2 is Hiero Day in Oakland

Oakland's legendary Hieroglyphics Crew is throwing a massive, free, and all ages hip-hop festival on Labor Day known as Hiero Day, taking place at Linden Street Brewery in Oakland. The festival began last year when a Facebook comment suggested a celebration in honor of the breakout Souls of Mischief track "93 'til Infinity". The idea turned into a street festival on San Pablo in Oakland that was so wildly successful that they're bringing it back for another round.
