First City Festival announces 2014 lineup featuring Beck and The National

As we told you a little while ago, the second iteration of the First City Festival will take place August 23 and 24 at the Monterey County Fair and Event Center. Interview: Guards' tales of San Francisco

Richie Follin – founder of punk rock band the Willowz, former member of Cults, and now singer in New York ‘60s and ‘70s revivalists Guards – lived near Cow Hollow in San Francisco for six years, up through the sixth grade, and attended St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School.
